This recently renovated  apartment is located behind the thick walls of a former warehouse called “De Pool” and has been built in 1688 and can be related to the trading activities of the Dutch during the Golden age in the Baltic. It is a national monument overlooking a large and quiet communal garden at the back of the house. 

 This  area is one of the most beautiful and relaxed areas of Amsterdam, near “het Amstelveldje”, de Reguliersgracht, Prinsengracht and the Utrechtsestraat with its nice shops, restaurants and cafes.

 The apartment is part of larger complex, with a shared entrance and a modern video system. It is situated at the raised ground floor. When you enter the living room via the shared hallway you will notice the large glass and steal doors wich give the apartment a spacious and light feeling of a modern penthouse, combined with the authentic characterisitics of an old ware house, like the old wooden beams and thick wall with round curved windows.
